"10 Years of Research and hard work - My Dissertation is Complete!"
Following the Dissertation Defense, founder Aaron Dishno is congratulated by the Dissertation Committee; Robert Cruise Ph.D., Marilyn Eggers Ph.D., and Edward Boyatt Ed.D. from the School of Education at La Sierra University, Riverside, California.
About the Dissertation
Previously, inconsistencies in the student information collected by university housing made it extremely difficult to measure the effects student housing placement had on retention and academic achievement. This Delphi research development and validation dissertation created a universal student housing application as the foundation to collect student information for use by any college or university in the United States as a baseline to measure the effects that variations in the housing application have on student retention and academic performance. Furthermore, for the first time in educational research this dissertation developed and validated a method of matching students based on the information on the student housing application for the matching and placement in student housing rooms.
